Thracian-Thamyris-Turkic-Demir

Khitarist - Kitharöden - Kithara

Kitharist THAMYRIS was a *Thracian* musician, like famous Orpheus.

“The Scythians made him even their king, even though he was an interloper”. Could he understand/speak *Scythian* language? As a ‚chosen’ King he should have done both, I believe.

Or he spoke only a dialect of his own language!!!

Thamyr-is sounds like

Tamir < Temir < Demir (word and a male name meaning IRON in all Turkish dialects)
Like Tamerlane, for example.... * Link: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thamyris
