In Bursa/Turkey in a museum we can see the goddess above with the name Taurene.


Here is the explanation to this goddess. The link you can see above.

The epithet (nickname) Taurene was not often to see, tells us the writer (and connects her name to Taurus Mountains).

I have not much idea/info about those times.

Bute I can assume what Taurene could mean.

It is an easy etymology when we know Old-Turkic:

Tau-Er-Ene 

Tau: mountain

Er: men

Ene: Mother 

= Mother of the mountain men.
