Hunnish-Turgun-versus-Turkic-Durgun

Pauly'de Hun olarak söz edilen bir Türk'e denk geldim.

Adı Turgun/1

I came across a Turk mentioned as a Hun in Pauly. His name is Turgun/1

Turgun bei Paulys RE
Uygur Türkçesinde -gun eki var ve tek heceli eylemleri ad yapıyor/2 >Durgun (sakin bir atamız olabilir).

There is a suffix -gun in Uyghur Turkish and monosyllabic verbs make nouns/2 >Durgun/Turgun (meaning still), (we may have a quiet ancestor).

(At rengi doru/toru da var tabi) * Rásonyi 'Türkçe' der/3

(There is also a horse color doru / toru of course) *

Rásonyi says 'Turkish'/3

Otto München-Helfen 'kökeni belli değil' der/4

Otto München-Helfen says 'its origin is unknown'/4
