Hello,
you see on the link below what I wrote about the small word AN, EN, ANA, ANNE, a word of Anatolian origin.
https://uzunbacakadem.blogspot.com/2020/02/hannahanna-hahhah-anna-ana-anne-anneanne.html
*
Ana, An, Anne have Anatolian/Hettite origin and have always to do with Mother/Fertility. In the Indo European Langs there is the similar small word ma (for mader, madre, mother, mutter) but it doesn't have a fertility/feeling function.
In Turkish language the root an- (ang) has an emotional basis and meaning sometimes "to say, to express", too. Wee see these 2 meanings by many Star Trek characters:
*
In first Star Trek with Tiberius Kirk we have only a woman with a mini skirt without any motherly feeling. Sie functions very good as an officer.
*
But by Star Trek: The Next Generation we have a lot of characters who have names with these small motherly/emotional meaning.
First of course the woman with a motherly figure with big breasts and po and with an ability to feel what the other think/feel and she can express these well.
DeANNA Troi
DeANNA Troi
She is in fact a Greek origined actress whose name is Marina Sirtis. She is the ship's counselor with emphatic ability. In an episode she gives birth to an alien child. She is mother with a name deANNA.
*
And her mother: LwaxANA Troi. Like her daughter very motherly figure. She loves men. She gave birth to 2 daughters but the sister of deANNA died very early. She has emphatic ability and speaks very directly what she thinks.

GuiNAN
She is not a human and 600 years old, 23 marriages and has many children (how many? we don't know).
Sie is from El-Auria where the people are called "listeners". She feels her environment very well and helped so to crew. A bartender who can listen and feel.

Now to Deep Space 9.
There is only a chaotic environment where mothers and feelers and sayers can not have a place.
The most of the women there are warriors.
*
And Star Trek: Voyager is a better example where many mothers come together.
The first Mother is the Captain KathrYN jANEway. In some episodes (KatharINA)
She is the captain. Mother of all. She feels, she speaks, she tells, organizes. She has a boy-friend but she can not marry him.
Captain jANEway
*
Herr opponent a Borg-Queen without a name because she can not feel, she can hear but not tell and with this lacks she is not an issue for our theme. Susanne Thompson, an actress alias Borg-Queen made the first lesbian kiss on American TV.
*
B'ElANNA Torres
A very strong woman who gives birth to another strong woman. A half Klingon who has to much feelings to express.

SevEN of NINE
A Borg of human origin, real name ANNIka hANsEN.
A borg who should become a human again. While she voyages with the crew she cares of many babies and young Borgs and the more she stays there the more she gets the feelings and the ability to express herself. A full-woman who has an explosive femininity.

There are many names in this Star Trek Universe I wanted to list.
These are, according to me, no accidents. All the names are, when not consciously selected, the subconscious decisions.
Here again the names of many goddesses with AN, ANA, EN, NE, NA, ANNE in their names.
