Pre-Greek-Tolos-Turkic-Tolu-Top

There is a Greek word called Tholos. Its meanings have always to do with 'something round'.

According to Beekes it is a pre-Greek word.

Meanings acc. to Wikionary:

θόλος  (thólosf (genitive θόλου); second declension

  1. (architecture) A round building with conical roof, a rotunda
  2. A vaulted steam bath
  3. bandage for the head invented by Diocles

*

Turkic tolu meaning full from tol- to get full.
And top in Turkic means simply the ball. The older versions are tolp, ***tolup***< derived from verb tol- (to get full) and -up is a very old Turkish suffix/pic2 Pic3=Ball of wool> Turkish "bir top yumak"

I have written about it already in an other context:

All these words (head, conical, etc.) have a meaning of something round.

A relation possible?
