UncertainEtymology-teg

Etymonline.com says teg means sheep in its second year, of uncertain etymology.

Here my proposal:

Turkish TEKE, meaning often a male goat in Turkish speaking areas.

In Çuvash Turkish it means male sheep,
In Tuvan Turkish dege, meaning male goat,
In Kerkük Turkish tege, meaning male goat.

Uzunbacak Adem

teke a bily goat
