Oitaians (Οἰταῖοι or Οἰταεῖς), an Ancient Greek Tribe lived on and around Mount Oeta, in Central Greece.

Oitai sounds like Türkic Ay-tai and would mean Moon-Mountain (*Oi = Ai* equivalence in many Greek and Roman names, I have shown this in my blog very often). I think they called themselves after the mountain. There is still a mountain with the name Aydağı in Türkiye, a name that is the same like Aytay in modern Türkish. 

Their land was bounded by the Spercheios River to the north and east and the Boeotic Cephissus to the south. Spercheios sounds like Esperik (a little falcon in Türkic), like the Great Khan of the Bulgars and Kephissus river sound like Kıvı-Su (from kıv: holy, happiness in Old Türkic) and su: water. 

All the names that we see here bei this people could be Türkic!

Oitailıler (Yunanca Οἰταῖοι veya Οἰταεῖς), Orta Yunanistan'daki Oeta Dağı ve çevresinde yaşamış eski bir Yunan kabilesiydi.

Oitai, Türkçedeki Ay-tai'ye benzer ve Ay Dağı anlamına gelir (birçok Yunan ve Roma ismindeki *Oi = Ai* denkliğini blogumda sık sık gösterdim). Sanırım kendilerine bu dağın adını verdiler.

Türkiye'de hâlâ Aydağı adında bir dağ var ve bu ad, modern Türkçe'de, Eski Türkçe Aytay ile aynı.

Toprakları, kuzeyde ve doğuda Spercheios Nehri ve güneyde Boeotik Cephissus nehri ile çevriliydi. Spercheios, Esperik'e (Türkçede küçük bir şahin) ve Bulgarların Büyük Hanı'nin adı ve Kephissus Nehri ise Kıvı-Su'ya (Eski Türkçe kut, mutluluk anlamına gelen kıv kelimesinden) benziyor.
