Greek-gephura-Turkish-Koeprue-bridge

A nice word!

Greek γέφυρα (géfyra) meaning bridge, etymology unknown, probably Pre-Greek (most probably not Indo-European)
Now look at Turkish "köprü", meaning bridge, too, etymology detectable Even Nişanyan refuses a Greek origin. Existing in many other Altaic langs. When was the junction?
