The AKES/AKIS river had caught my attention while reading the History of Herodotus. Could this river, east of the Caspian, be Oxus? A little research showed that I wasn't the only one thinking this/pic2

Why shouldn't 'AK (Turkish for white)/AK- (Turkish for to flow)' be considered as root here too? * Imagine Adem, trace Adam.

Herodot'un Tarih'ini okurken dikkatimi çekmişti AKES/AKİS ırmağı. Hazar'ın doğusunda yer alan bu ırmak, Oxus olabilir miydi. Kısa bir araştırma, bunu düşünenin bir tek ben olmadığını gösterdi/pic2
