Goddess-Gaia-versus-Tuerkic-Kaya

Gaia / Γαῖα (pic: wiki)

Gaia is the personification of Earth in Greek mythology and its etymology according to wiktionary:

The Greek name Γαῖα (Gaia Ancient Greek: [ɡâi̯.a] or [ɡâj.ja]) is a mostly epic, collateral form of Attic Γῆ (Gē [ɡɛ̂ː]), and Doric Γᾶ (Ga [ɡâː]), perhaps identical to Δᾶ (Da [dâː]), both meaning "Earth". Some scholars believe that the word is of uncertain origin. Beekes suggested a probable Pre-Greek origin.

It relates this name to Δᾶ (Da).

Both references are interesting.

Kaya/Gaya means im Türkic rock and mountain, one of the most important formation of the earth.

Δᾶ/Da sounds similar to taw/dag/tau meaning mountain.

Both references could easily show a Türkic origin in fact.

A second parallel in Türkic pantheon is that Yer Tanrı / Yer Ana is a female deity, too.

Alles klar?
