KIR, açık alan, düz yer; OBUZ ise su pınarı veya suların aşındırdığı yer ve engebeli alan demektir.

KIR means open space, flat place; OBUZ means water spring or a place eroded by water and a rough area.

(KROBYZIANS) KIROBUZLAR da açık ve engebeli yer olan ve adını buradan alan KIR-OBUZ alanından gelen / orada yaşayan KIR-OBUZlular demek olmalıdır.

KROBYZIANS could be the people from the place called KIR-OBUZ, meaning in Türkic 'uneven flat area' (for other possibilities/combinations see above)

KIR çok ilginç bir sözcük.

Sümerce KUR 𒆳 dağ, ülke demektir. Türkçe KIR sözcüğünün dağ anlamı da vardır. 

Yunanca χώρα'nın (khora) ise hep ülke, alanla ilgili anlamları vardır ve Yunanca değildir (Pre-Greek).

Türkçe KIR, Sümerce KUR ve Yunanca χώρα birbirlerine hem şekil hem de anlam olarak çok benzerler.

KIR is a very interesting word.

KUR 𒆳 means mountain in Sumerian. The Turkish word KIR also has the meaning of mountain.

The Greek word χώρα (khora) always has meanings related to country or area and is not Greek word(Pre-Greek).

Turkish KIR, Sumerian KUR and Greek χώρα are very similar to each other both in form and meaning.

UPDATE: the name Krobuzoi could derive from Türkic words 

Kuru: dry and Obuz: stream bed > KURUOBUZ.

(I think the English geographical term "draw" would be the best choice).
