I went on a trip with Hops, the essence of beer (Proto-Türkic Kumlak, translated into many languages from Turkish), who loves sandy places! 

Besides the following popular information, I also wanted to mention a main Scythian tribe whose name may come from KUMLAK (Haumavarga), Bier-Drinking Scythians. 

It may give a clue to their origins.
