Indo-Europeans-and-their-verbs-for-riding-horse

The famous German linguist Porzig says: "The Indo-Europeans did not know how to ride a horse, because their horses were weak. They just harnessed them to the cart. They learned 'to ride/mount' horses only after they received stronger horses from the Eastern peoples (Who are these people? Could it be maybe the Turks? - Uzunbacak Adem). That's why riding a horse was described in most of these languages with the verb 'to drive' (🇩🇪fahren)."
In Turkish, 'bin-' (to ride on a horse/ to mount) is a very old verb.
