Trojan-Troilus-Turkos-both-Turkic-names

Turkos - Troilus - Priam

'Turcus was a son of Troilus, who was a son of King Priam. At his wish his people were called Turks, after him. Some say their place of origin is in the neighborhood of Scythia.'

Turcus/Turkos Türk olmayıp ne olacaktır?

İngilizce wiki şöyle der: “Before the arrival of Dardanus, the land that would eventually be called Dardania (and later still the Troad) was known as Teucria and the inhabitants as Teucrians, after Turkos.” ‘After Turkos’!? Turkos nedir, kimdir belirsizdir.

English version:

The name of the prince Troilus, son of the Trojan chief Priam, is compatible with Turul/Tuğrul, which is not foreign to us at all. (Turul/Tuğrul is a holy totemic bird of the Turks and Hungarians (Onogurs).

It is a Ancient Roman gentes:

coincidence?

Do you know what his son's name is?

Turkos

According to: Turcus/Turkos Source

'Turcus was a son of Troilus, who was a son of King Priam. At his wish his people were called Turks, after him. Some say their place of origin is in the neighborhood of Scythia.'

There seems to be no other source where you can read the names of the two of them on www.

The English wiki says: "Before Dardanus' arrival, the land that would eventually be called Dardania (and later still the Troad) was Teucria, and its inhabitants were known as Teucrians after Turkos."

 'After the Turkos'!?

What or who is Turkos. Wiki doesn't explain, he doesn't say anything else. He keeps this name, which can be very important, as a secret to whom or what it belongs to.

Conclusion: Priamos gave his son the name Troilus (Tuğrul) and he gave hşs son the name Turkos (Türk). Crystal clear.
