ENGLISH:
It is not easy to find the names of the Scythian chieftains who lived in Lesser Scythia (the present-day Dobruja region) in the second century BC everywhere. The following 6 names can be found on the Russian and Ukrainian wiki pages (link below):
Канит (Κανιται)
Харасп (Χαράσπης)
Акроса (Ἀκροσάκης)
Танусак (Τανουσάκης)
Сариак[укр.] (Σαριάκος)
Айлис (Αιλίς)
*
Kanit
Kharasp
Akrosa
Tanusak
Sariak
Aylis
*
There is no reason why all 6 of these names shouldn't be Turkish...
Kanit
Kangı: Prince; Kangıt: An ancient Turkic tribe; Kang: Father
Kharasp
Kara (black), ?sıpa: foal; ?sab: news; sap: handle
Akrosa
Ak (white); akuru/akru: slow; aksırak: whitish
Tanusak
Tanuş-: to get to know each other (German bekannt werden), Modern Turkish: Tanış: people who you know
Sariak
Sarı/sarıg: yellow, there are at least two men with Sarı in their names in Türkish history: Sarığ Saman and Sarığ Toyın
The ak/ako/ake in the names Sarıak(os) and Tanusak(es) corresponds to the Turkish aka and can also mean older brother.
Aylis
Aylı: lit. "with moon"; maybe he was having a sword / armor with a moon; or a scar in the shape of a moon on his body/head.
The Russian page says the following about Aylin: Как отметил М. Manov, греческие колонисты, видимо, решили, что имя Айлиса подобно имени эллинского бога солнца. Впоследствии были найдены монеты Айлиса ещё трёх типов. Translation: As M. Manov notes, Greek colonists apparently decided that the name Ailis was similar to the name of the Hellenic sun god.
